Who got the votes?

Who got the most votes on the council? Some people who lost got more votes than winners in other districts. Small consolation, but still something of interest.

I’m a geek, I always find this very interesting . . . with redistricting being recent, this is the closest the districts are to having an equal population, so that shouldn’t be much of a factor here.  Alders are elected by, for the most part, getting votes from less than 20% of the population of their district.

Who’s candidates with contested races got the most votes?
There were 22,625 voters in districts 1, 2, 3, 6, 9, 12, 13, 14, 15, 17 and 20 (I skipped 8 for purposes of this calculation).  Obviously, those who endorsed the most candidates will do better in this analysis, but the results don’t exactly go that way . . .
