Time to Start Circulating Nomination Papers!

Today is the day that candidates for County Board (37 Seats!), School Board (3 seats) and City Council (1 seat) can start circulating nomination papers . . . but shockingly few have filed paperwork to allow them to begin!

I will continue to update the 2020 Spring Elections Tab on this website.  You can find out more information about candidates running for County Board, School Board and City Council.

Candidates have to have their  campaign registration statement in before you can declare their candidacy and start raising money and circulating nomination papers.  I’ve seen people get this wrong before and because we generally have values that we want to err on the side of allowing people to run, its not been enforced that I can remember.  But technically, today is the day candidates can start circulating nomination papers!  However, only these candidates have filed their campaign registration statements according to the clerks offices (County, City/Schools):
