This Side of Town On WYOU

I have a permanent time (or two) and my first, non-pilot show runs today.

My regular time is Monday at 5:00pm right before Democracy Now and then again at 6am on Tuesday morning. The weekly show is normally an hour, except when I get pre-empted by fundraising for Democracy Now, which will happen this month.

My shows can also be viewed on thissideoftown.blip.tv. Today’s show can be seen here. Or here.

This show is about Operation Welcome Home, Take Back the Land and a discussion on housing, homeless and poverty in Madison and what people are doing about it. I talk with Monica Adams & Z! Haukeness from Operation Welcome Home as well as poverty advocates Jacque Pokorney and Leslie McAllister. Next week, I talk transportation issues with Robbie Webber. The following week, (yeah, you know it!) the Edgewater.

Surprisingly, despite my slow and somewhat quiet start, I’ve had over 100 on-line viewers. Much work to be done on a better set and other technical issues. Its work in progress. So, hang on while I improve a few things . . .
