Hello all ~ Wisconsin State Journal is taking a poll on how our community feels about the decision to move forward with the Edgewater Hotel re-development. Can you take 2 seconds to click on the link below, then scroll down…the poll is near the bottom on the left.

When I sent this email to you, the poll showed:

YES = 73
NO = 22
??? = 05

Please participate! As you’ve probably heard, our Alders spent the entire night debating this issue (I believe from 1:00 am – 7:45 am)…very hard work. Wouldn’t it be nice for them to see how the community feels they did after all was said and done? With the current stats being 73% YES, it looks like they made the right decision…so far!

Thanks to those who helped make this possible!

Kelly

  1. A. That's what PR is for
    B. Other companies do it, just for some reason you are forwarded all emails that pertain to Hammes for some sick obsession you have and then have to post them and make it seem like a conspiracy.
    C. Stop sounding like a whiny baby!

  2. These Hammes emails show what they've been up to in our community. Hammes and their buddies think a major downtown development that requires a $16 million public subsidy is like an American Idol competition.

    Icky.

  3. Steve, you may be right, maybe whiny isn't the emphasis I should have used. I think obsessed is the correct emphasis. Why spend all the time and energy blogging about a project that she is not involved in? Any credibility she may have had seems to be lost now. Hope it was worth it.

  4. Brenda,

    I appreciate all the work you do to keep us informed, especially for your coverage of the Edgewater debacle.
    While the mayor, the common council, and Dunn tried to hide their shenanigans you let us know what was happening.

    Thanks.
