    • I move that the Board of Education approve maintaining the current 2019-2020 healthcare budget and Dean as a provider, while moving to Quartz as a second provider, and adopt a healthcare plan design which includes:

      ● Prescription co-pays of $6, $15 or $30;
      ● Employee Premium Contribution at 2.5, 6, 10 and 12 percent for respective employee groups enrolled in the HMO plan and 5, 12, 20 and 24 for respective employee groups enrolled in the Point of Service (POS) plan.

      OR

      I move that the Board of Education approve maintaining the current 2019-2020 healthcare budget and current providers Dean and GHC, while adopting a healthcare plan design which includes:

      ● $100 single and $200 family deductible;
      ● Prescription co-pays of $6, $15 or $30;
      ● Employee Premium Contribution at 2.5, 6, 10 and 12 percent for respective employee groups enrolled in the HMO plan and 5, 12, 20 and 24 for respective employee groups enrolled in the POS plan.
  • Early Budget Proposal–Strategic Equity Projects
    • I move that the Board of Education grant early approval of the following 2020-21 budget requests to facilitate timely ordering of long lead-time materials/equipment or to accelerate necessary planning for summer programming:

      a) an increase of $50,000 to the 2020-21 Forward Madison budget to support the continuation of the Accelerated Licensure in Special Education program;

      b) an increase of $120,000 to the 2020-21 Mental Health budget to support expansion of the Behavioral Health In Schools Program;

      c) an increase of $40,000 to the 2020-21 Mental Health budget to support expansion of the BounceBack Program;

      d) an increase of $55,000 to the 2020-21 Mental Health budget to support expansion of the High School 9th Grade CBITS Program; and

      e) an increase of $250,000 to the 2020-21 Secondary Program budget to support expansion of the Early College STEM Academy to 200 students.
