Fercristsake, more changes to the City Joke Ahead

Yeah, I’m so sick of this. Actually, I’m pissed about 2 of the 3 meetings here. Let me know if you can go to either of the overlapping meetings on Friday, I am out of town at a conference.

Added 8:42 yesterday
Meeting: MINORITY AFFAIRS COMMITTEE (MAC)
Date: 11/13/2013 10:30 AM
Location: ROOM LL-130 MMB

Added 9:23 yesterday – so much for promises of transparency – daytime meeting with short notice, gee thanks.
Meeting: SRO HOUSING DEVELOPER SELECTION COMMITTEE
Date: 11/15/2013 12:30 PM
Location: ROOM 313 MMB

To add insult to injury, there are no attachments and this:

When the SRO Housing Developer Selection Committee considers the above items, it may go into closed session pursuant to Section 19.85(1)(e), Wisconsin Statutes, which reads as follows: Deliberating or negotiating the purchasing of public properties, the investing of public funds, or conducting other specified business, whenever competitive or bargaining reasons require a closed session. If the SRO Housing Developer Selection Committee does convene in closed session as described above, upon completion of the closed session, notice is hereby given that it may reconvene in open session to consider the following items without waiting 12 hours, pursuant to Wisconsin Statutes, Section 19.85(2).

Added 10:52 yesterday – scheduled so the lobbyists can attend, but what about the public? Its not even during the typical lunch hour.
Meeting: TIF POLICY REVIEW AD HOC COMMITTEE
Date: 11/15/2013 1:00 PM
Location: ROOM LL-110 MMB

To add insult to injury here – the handout I gave them about housing affordability level doesn’t seem to be in legistar and you can never tell which part of the policy they are going to talk about so you have to attend all the meeting in hopes that the portions you care about might be discussed.

Looks like I have some emails to send.
