What do you want in a new City Civil Rights Director?

Input needed! Live in person or by email. Personally, I’d like to see someone who cares passionately about fair housing and discriminatory housing patterns.

The City of Madison is in the hiring process for the director position of the Department of Civil Rights. As part of this process, the department is holding two community input sessions to understand what attributes community members would like to see in the eventual director of the department as well as what folks feel would generally improve the department’s services.

Join the Department of Civil Rights for an open forum, and opportunity to answer the following:
What attributes do we want to see in a Department of Civil Rights leader?
How can we improve the services the Department of Civil Rights provides?

Multiple opportunities to write in comments will be made available at each event, and you can email comments to: dcr@cityofmadison.com
