The event came in advance of the anticipated mid-February release of a Federally mandated final Environmental Impact Study (EIS). The Air Force decision on whether or not to approve the Truax basing will follow thirty days after that EIS release.

Drawing from the knowledge of a diverse panel of informed experts and activists, the forum focused on the numerous threats to the region’s environmental, public health, well-being and economic insecurity posed by the jets’ stationing at Truax. Question and answer period following speakers.
