Friday, March 26th—You be the Judge It’s the eighth annual “cook-off ” hors d’oeuvre competition and Tenant Resource Center Housing Crisis Fund Benefit, 5–7 p.m. at the Brink Lounge (701 East Washington Avenue), featuring the culinary exploits of some of your favorite Dane County locals. How will our local celebrity judges rate their hard work? Bring your family, co-workers, neighbors and friends. But most importantly bring an empty stomach and judge for yourself! Eat some great food, mingle, chat and help us raise money for the TRC Housing Crisis Fund.

WHAT IS THE HOUSING CRISIS FUND?
The Housing Crisis Fund makes small grants to individuals and families who are at risk of losing their housing due to eviction. Grants go to families unable to make a full rent payment—usually because of a temporary loss of income or large unexpected one-time expense. In these difficult times of rapidly increasing
housing costs and unemployment rates, the Housing Crisis Fund is more important now than ever.

We appreciate any donation you can make, but suggest $25–$100 at this event—more if you can, less if you can’t. All contributions from this event will go solely to the Housing Crisis Fund, providing grants directly to those in our community. If you prefer, you can specify that a portion go to Tenant Resource Center operations,
keeping our doors open and phones ringing! Your contribution will help TRC make the difference between eviction and keeping someone in their home.
