Amending Section 23.18(1), creating Section 28.18(5) and amending Section 1.08(3)(a) of the Madison General Ordinances to prohibit separating a puppy under 7 weeks of age from its mother and to prohibit neglectful tethering of a dog and adding additional bail deposits for violating this section.
Creating Section 23.47 of the Madison General Ordinances to provide authority to Madison Dane County Public Health to order the spaying or neutering of dogs that repeatedly run at large, act aggressively or cause injury to a person or property or in violation of Chapter 28.
Amending Sections 9.31(2), (9) and 9.50(2), creating Section 9.50(6) and amending Section 1.08(3)(a) of the Madison General Ordinances to increase the fees for cat and dog licenses, increase the penalty for violating said sections and clarifying the bail deposits for these sections.
