How’d it go? You’re never going to believe it!
I happened to run into one of the attendees . . . which is quite the statistical accomplishment. Here’s what happened.
Andrew Statz and Mario Mendoza, mayor’s aides showed up.
Alder Steve King showed up.
Mayor Dave Cieslewicz showed up.
And . . . they all showed up to listen to . . . ONE person. ONE.
Really, its not a surprise, since they gave late notice, do it in August, scheduled it when there were other funding meetings going on and I think they don’t really want people to show up and well, there’s nothing to respond to and no good information available to research even if you wanted to.
What a farce.
