Stoopid City

Three things bugging me this week, so it gets its own post.

RIGHT HAND, MEET LEFT HAND
At Willy and Few, where I work, they freshly painted the cross walks! Yay!!!

It lasted about 2 or three days . . .

HOW LONG DO WE HAVE TO WAIT
The press conference was months ago . . .

MY NEW YARD SIGN
I’ve put up a lot of yard signs in my life, but I’ve never had one in my yard like I have had all this week.

Um, I live two blocks away as you drive on the corner of E Mifflin and N. Hancock.
How hard to you have to hit that pole to make it bend like that, and how drunk do you have to be to drag it for two blocks and leave it under your SUV for the cops to find the next morning?

Wonder how long it will sit here?

  1. Someone hit the parking sign in front of my house last week. I reported it to “Report a Problem” on the city’s web site that night – both replacement sign needed, and need to remove old sign on lawn – and it was taken care of the next morning. Maybe all your sign needs is a caring citizen to report it to the city?

  2. Actually, we did think we didn’t need to do report a problem, because we thought the police officer would have informed someone. When that didn’t happen, we did do report a problem, and when that didn’t work, I blogged it and voila! Problem fixed.
