Scott Walker Slaps Down Blaska

In case you have not heard, Scott Walker’s campaign manager, Michael Grebe,  is suing the Madison School District.    Well, Grebe could not sue the district directly, since he does not live here and he is too busy selling off Northern WI.  In order to make the plans work, they had to find a stooge in Dane County to take the bait.

Find one they did!

Dave Blasks, local extremist agitator was more than willing to sully his reputation(if thats possible).  Apparently the Madison teaching staff’s recent raise of 0.25% was too high for Blaska’s liking.   At Scott Walker/ Michael Grebe’s bidding, Blaska partnered with Professor/lawyer Rick Esenberg who is known to do whatever he is told by the republican party, no questions asked.

The good news for the people of Madison though, is Scott Walker came out with his new plan,  he pointed out the dangers of frivolous lawsuits.

Frivolous lawsuits take money that could otherwise be used to hire new employees and purchase equipment. According to a National Federation of Independent Business, National Small Business Poll on Liability, nearly 1 in 5 small employers spent more time focusing on liability problems and concerns than on new investments, wages, and benefits.

The legal climate also impacts our ability to attract and retain employers.

Yes Blask’a frivolous lawsuit will cost the kids in the Madison School District valuable resources, but in right win world that sure beats losing an election!

Nothing says open for business like the Governor’s campaign manager suing one of the top school districts in the state.   I am sure that will be a very attractive in recruiting business execs and professors and other professionals to the Madison, WI area!

Maybe that can be our next WI tourism ad.   Hi.  I am Scott Walker and we do not respect locally elected governments or school boards.   We expect everyone to live by our cookie cutter way and if a local school board decides the best way to advocate for their children is to do it collaboratively with all parties involved….we will sue the hell out of you!   Welcome to our state, remember we are “open for business”!

Excellent update on this frivolous lawsuit here, when Dave Blaska admits to freeloading on this lawsuit.
