Superintendent Jen Cheatham and Business Assistant Superintendent Mike Barry will present information aided at educating the community about the November 8 referendum followed by a question and answer session from attendees, as well as questions submitted through social media. Questions will be answered by a panel of district representatives including Superintendent Cheatham, board members and district staff.

The school district’s referendum will appear on the back of the November 8 ballot. Both sessions will also be live on Facebook. It is expected that the members of the MMSD Board of Education, up to or exceeding a majority of the full membership of the Board, may attend some of the events, however, the Board will neither discuss nor take any action with respect to any school district business as part of attending any of the events associated with this event.
