Hmmm, another no news day. Was hoping to read about the county board veto override on the budget – but . . .crickets. The patterns emerging here are disturbing. City or police put out press releases and all the news covers it. And the rest of the news flying by us on a daily basis doesn’t get covered. The state of local media is sad. 🙁 (support your local media!) And that is bad for democracy.

And the news about the County Board overriding Parisi’s partial budget veto (the news all reported it was signed last Friday, no news of partial veto until yesterday – Cap Times was the only one to cover it, besides Forward Lookout.)
