EPC/EINPC Forum

Hello EPC/EINPC community,

I know you all have a ton of choices in wonderful events for Earth Week, but I wanted to make you aware of a really important discussion happening at the Emerson East neighborhood’s Sustainable Saturday Night, coming up this Saturday, April 25.

EPC is co-sponsoring a panel discussion and public forum on how equity and sustainability can be guiding principles for the public market district. The event will be held at James Reeb Unitarian Universalist church, on East Johnson St. There’s a potluck at 6pm, and the forum starts at 7. Panelists include Alder Marsha Rummel (6th district) and Dan Kennelly (City of Madison economic development).

Hope many of you can make it!

Attached is a flier for the event, including some big questions we’ll be addressing at the meeting.

Happy Earth Week,

Matt Covert
Chair, Eastside Planning Council
