Paul Soglin Endorses Ben Manski; Hulsey Caught in Yet Another Fake Endorsment

The former Madison Mayor, student radical and stalwart Democrat has come out in support of the Green Party candidate.  Tonight he intends to send out a robo call on behalf of the campaign, according to the Manski camp.

This is yet another huge Democratic endorsement for Manski.  The progressive community – Greens, PD, principled Dems – have slowly but surely come around in united support for Ben.  I can’t see how this won’t have an impact in overcoming partisan divides on the Madison left in the future.

Meanwhile, Brett Hulsey continues to get caught in his thick web of lies.  Now it’s Rep. Kelda Roys who is stating that she never endorsed Hulsey.  In a statement, she expressed her “extreme disappointment” at this betrayal of trust.

The question now is this: Which of Hulsey’s endorsements are NOT made up?

The contrast – the principled candidate grows in support while the unethical one flounders – could not be clearer.

  1. This is freakin surreal. If you had told me back in July when I started working on this campaign that it would go down like this I wouldv’e had you committed. Regardless of what happens tomorrow night, I will remember the heady days of October 2010 as long as I live. People work their whole lives in grassroots politics and never come close to standing in the center of a perfect storm like this. I know, because there’s a hell of a lot of us working on this campaign. Craziness.
