At first, I was concerned that this new shelter would be unaffordable for the groups currently using the shelter and instead would be just another mostly unused closed park building for weddings and gatherings for people who could afford it and figure out how to get it reserved. I was reasonable assured, however, that would not be the case. We subsequently put money in the budget for about half of the costs, with the rest to be raised by the community. Check it out!
