More Friday News: Edgwater Waterfront Setback Ordinance Change

Here’s the language that the plan commission talked about . . .

Dear Colleagues,

Earlier this week Ald. Cnare and I crafted a substitute for the waterfront setback ordinance amendment that captures the recommendation from Plan Commission. You’ll see this as item 4 on our agenda for Tuesday.

Briefly, the change from version 1 is that the applicant may choose to use either the existing development pattern or the existing building setback as the prescribed setback. Either way, Plan Commission can still apply it’s own standards as part of its conditional use process, just as it does now.

Here’s a link to the substitute. If you have questions, don’t hesitate to contact Ald. Cnare or myself. Thanks!

Drafted earlier this week, released Friday afternoon . . . of course.
