• Appeal of Plan Commission action on Conditional Use request for 2219 Monroe Street, Legistar ID 60001.

• Creating Section 28.022 – 00482 of the Madison General Ordinances to change the zoning of property located at 4205 Portage Road, 17th Aldermanic District, from Temp. A (Temporary Agricultural) District to TR-U2 (Traditional Residential – Urban 2) District

• Appeal of the Plan Commission action on the Conditional Use request for 4606 Hammersley Road, Legistar ID 62600.

• Accepting funds from the U.S. Treasury Department, to be awarded to the City of Madison under the Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2021 (H.R. 133), to help prevent evictions and promote housing stability for eligible households affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, amending the Community Development Division’s 2021 Operating Budget to reflect receipt of those funds, and authorizing the Mayor and City Clerk to execute agreements with the Tenant Resource Center and other community partner agencies to implement a program to deliver that relief.

• Condemning the insurrection and violence that occurred at the U.S. Capitol in Washington, DC on January 6, 2021, calling for a peaceful transition of power on January 20, 2021 and condemning hate and extremism.

• Interim Chief of Police 4th Quarter Report: Interim Chief Vic Wahl, Madison Police Department

• A Resolution Amending the 2021 Public Health Operating Budget to accept $146,477 from the WI Department of Health Services and creating a project Disease Intervention Specialist position to expand needle exchange services.

• A Resolution authorizing a noncompetitive contract with Maxim Healthcare Staffing Services, Inc. to support Public Health in COVID-19 testing, contact tracing and vaccine administration.

• Authorizing the Mayor and City Clerk to enter into an agreement with the USGS to monitor runoff from leaf collection study area and to accept partial funding from League of Wisconsin Municipalities by entering a Memorandum of Understanding with the League of Wisconsin Municipalities and amend the 2021 operating budget to reflect the accepted funds. (18th AD)

• A Resolution waiving all Street Vending fees under MGO 9.13 for the 2021-2022 vending season and extending existing vending licenses for vendors in good standing from the 2020-2021 season to the 2021-2022 season.

Washington Ave. – The Continental and authorizing construction to be undertaken by the Developer, Private Contract No. 9013 (2nd AD) – Under this Contract, the Private Developer shall be responsible for all improvements in the City right of way. This work includes, but is not limited to, replacement of sidewalk on E Washington Avenue to allow for a five-foot sidewalk, eight-foot terrace, and an addition one-foot for maintenance, installation of pedestrian lighting along N Franklin Street. Pedestrian lighting was installed along N Hancock Street as part of a 2018 Public Works project. The Developer shall also makes private lateral connections to City utilities, install trees as required, and make sidewalk and pavement repairs as required due to construction operations.
