– It is expected that the members of the MMSD Board of Education, up to or exceeding a majority of the full membership of the Board, may attend some of the events, however, the Board will neither discuss nor take any action with respect to any school district business as part of attending any of the events associated with this event.

Select Board Policy Updates – Education Policies 1022 (Board Vacancies), 3151 (Auto Mechanics), 3340 (Student Activity Fee Waiver), 3710 A,B and C (Fees, Fines and Rentals), 4150 (Student Records) and 8441 (Pregnancy and Maternity Leave) and 8905 (Non-Medical Leave of Absence) as set forth in the materials prepared for the July 25, 2016 Regular Meeting, with said revisions to take effect immediately.

DPI Waiver – It is recommended that the Board of Education approve a request to the Department of Public Instruction for a waiver of the requirements under PI 34 allowing MMSD emergency licensure for middle-childhood to early-adolescence licensed teachers to also teach kindergarten.
