- Authorizing the use of up to $125,000 of federal Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds and authorizing the Community Development Division to enter into agreements with the Parks Division in order to implement neighborhood improvement projects identified in the North East Area Plan (District 3, District 12, District 17, District 18)
- Authorizing the Mayor and the City Clerk to enter into a multi-year competitively selected service contract with Strand Inc for engineering services for the Badger Mill Creek Watershed Models Update. (District 1, District 7, District 9, District 20)
- Authorizing a contract between the State of Wisconsin, Department of Military Affairs, Division of Emergency Management and the City of Madison for the City of Madison Fire Department to be a Participating Agency in a statewide urban search and rescue team.
- Authorizing electric service agreements for the purchase of backup generation service with Madison Gas & Electric Company, including the installation of a standby generator, on Madison Water Utility facility sites
- Authorizing the Water Utility General Manager to enter into Interruptible Electric Service Agreements with Madison Gas & Electric Co. at Water Utility Sites
- Authorizing the Mayor and the City Clerk to execute a contract between the City of Madison and TYLin, for corridor safety studies and demonstration project planning and evaluation for three priority corridors (District 6, District 10, District 12, District 19, District 20).
- Authorizing the Mayor and the City Clerk to execute a contract between the City of Madison and SEH for planning, engineering, and public engagement services for East Washington Avenue (US Hwy 30 to Annamark) and Schroeder Rd (Whitney Way to Gammon Rd) (District 3, District 12, District 17, District 19, District 20).
- Authorizing the Mayor and the City Clerk to execute a contract between the City of Madison and SEH for planning and engineering services for the Systemwide Safety Improvements project (Citywide).
- Amending the 2026 Economic Development Division (EDD) Operating Budget by transferring $200,000 from contingent reserve and $75,000 from other agency budgets to EDD and authorizing intra-departmental transfers within EDD, approving program materials, and authorizing the Economic Development Division to administer a Williamson Street Business Stabilization Support Program (District 6).
- Amending the 2026 adopted operating budget by transferring $28,500 from the contingent reserve to the Office of the Independent Monitor for additional staffing and services costs, and directing staff to provide a full accounting of costs associated with the City’s critical incident response between July 22, 2026 and September 8, 2026.

- Creating Section 28.022-00759 of the Madison General Ordinances to change the zoning of property located at 8302 McDowell Drive at the northeastern corner of Mid Town Road and S Pleasant View Road from Temp. A (Agricultural) District to TR-U2 (Traditional Residential-Urban 2) District, and creating Section 28.022-00760 of the Madison General Ordinances to change the zoning of property located at 8302 McDowell Drive from Temp. A (Agricultural) District to CC-T (Commercial Corridor-Transitional) District. (District 1) AND Approving the preliminary plat and final plat of Hawks Nest on land generally addressed as 8302 McDowell Drive and located at the northeastern corner of Mid Town Road and S Pleasant View Road (District 1).

- Alder Derek Field of District 3 and Alder Sean O’Brien of District 16 will host a public information meeting on the South Stoughton Road redesign project on Thursday, September 3rd, from 5:30 to 7:30 PM. During this meeting, staff from the City Planning and Transportation departments will provide information about the project, followed by a question-and-answer session. The Stoughton Road Redesign meeting will take place in person in the cafeteria of La Follette High School, located at 702 Pflaum Rd, Madison, WI 53716. Please register in advance on Eventbrite.
