- The Lexington-Fayette Urban County Council will visit with members of the City of Madison Common Council on Wednesday, May 14, in Room 201 of the City-County Building from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. The Lexington-Fayette Urban County Council is eager to learn about how the City of Madison is addressing issues such as public safety recruitment, affordable housing, and homelessness. They are also interested in how Madison is preparing for the uncertainty of future federal funding. A possible quorum of the Common Council may exist at this event.
