It is Thursday, So Here’s a Round Up

GENERAL

WE’RE NUMBER THREE!

GEESE MEMORIALIZED
12 people showed up, and still it made the news . . . interesting. Guess it was quirky enough. Gooseburgers for the food pantries! Yeah, somehow that doesn’t make me feel better. There had to be a better solution.

DOING MORE WITH LESS – TOGETHER

Do you provide consulting, mentoring, or coaching to community organizations? Are you a part of a community group that could use some consulting, mentoring, or coaching but just doesn’t have the resources to make it happen?

CORE (Consulting for Organizational Reflection and Effectiveness) a collaboration of organizations, consultants, and funders, is making two “Doing More with Less—Together” gatherings happen in upcoming days to explore ways that we can all work together to get through these tough times. You can sign up online at http://www.consultingforchange.org/organizational-gatherings.html

Gatherings are set for Thursday, July 14th and Monday, July 18th 5:30-9pm at the Goodman Community Center. Pre-registration is required. Dinner is provided. Donations are welcome. Childcare can also be provided with 48 hours notice.

These gatherings are a great opportunity to build your networks, give input into CORE new pilot program that will launch this fall giving up to 12 small budget organizations 6 months of consulting support, and build your toolbox of ways to become more effective and sustainable as a consultant or a community group.
