Hispanic Family Attacked

Wow, this kind of makes you stop and think . . .

How long did it take for someone to call the police? Did they hesitate for fear of someone being deported? Why did that person feel like they could attack that family? How would they even know if they were documented or not? Does all this blatant hatred towards “illegals” embolden someone like this? Will we see more of it? Is this ok in our community? You can add your thoughts tonight at the City Council meeting (6:30 at the City County building, 210 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. Room 201) or listen in tomorrow night at the Immigration Task Force meeting (6:30 City county Building, 210 Martin Luther King Jr Blvd, Room 309). If you can’t make it tonight you can email allalders@cityofmadison.com and mayor@cityofmadison.com.

  1. I wonder if Sheriff Mahoney realizes that he’s a community leader and that his policies do not exist in a vacuum. Does it bother him? Does he care?
