HEAD START REGISTRATION FOR FALL

Register children now for 2012 fall Head Start, a free, half-day child development program for children ages 3-5, including children with special needs/disabilities. Meals and Transportation are provided. Full-day child care is available for eligible children. A 4-K program is provided for children aged 4. Applications and information in English, Spanish, Hmong are available at 257-6740 or www.dcpcinc.org.

K-4 and K-5 REGISTRATION FOR FALL

Register children now for 4 year old and 5 year old Kindergarten beginning September 2012. Register at child’s assigned elementary school.

OPEN ENROLLMENT APPLICATION NOW FOR 2012-2013 SCHOOL YEAR

Children seeking to change schools by Open Enrollment must complete an application between Feb. 6-24. This is for anyone who wishes their child in grades K-12 to attend a different school within the Madison School District; in a different school district (such as McFarland, Monona, etc;) or at a virtual school, such as Monroe Virtual School. This opportunity occurs only once a year and this is an application for the 2012-2013 school year.

The on-line application will be available from midnight February 6, 2012, until 4:00 p.m. on February 24, 2012.
