This is from Greyhound to the alders.

Subject: Update of Madison Greyhound

Below is a summary of the current situation of Greyhound in Madison.

►Greyhound is currently loading at Metro’s North Transfer Point.

►”Print at Home” tickets are now available for purchase at www.greyhound.com.

►A Greyhound representative is meeting departures to provide information and assist passengers.

►We are making contacts to evaluate the feasibility of loading at the bus stop in front of Kelley’s Market on W. Washington.

► The immediate focus is to find a location where we can board passengers, sell tickets, and ship packages.

► Greyhound is committed to finding a long term location to serve our customers and look forward to taking part in any discussions concerning a multimodal facility in Madison.

However, you still can’t buy tickets without internet access and a credit card, there is still no pay phone or lockers or 24 hour facilities (think cup of coffee or a diet coke and a bag of chips) or ability to wait indoors or restrooms. Some basics most travelers expect and need.

It seems there is a long ways to go.
