– Still a goofy agenda, but mostly fire department hiring issues.

4:30 PM ALCOHOL LICENSE REVIEW COMMITTEE ROOM 201 CCB
– Special Separated License Renewal Hearing – they approve all liquor licenses every year and sometimes a few get called out for a special hearing due to issues, so look to see if there are any in your neighborhood.

4:30 PM BENCHMARKING COLLABORATION AD-HOC COMMITTEE ROOM 118 CCB
– Presentation from Working Group. Discussion/possible vote. Please refer to Legistar No. 35501 for more information.

4:45 PM LANDMARKS COMMISSION ROOM LL-110 MMB
– Nothing major, some alterations and signs and such. If you live in a historic district you might want to check to see if anything impacts you.

– Discussion: Racial Equity in Criminal Justice
– Discussion: Issuing a statement of the Commission regarding the removal of resources from health community organizations

5:45 PM CITY-COUNTY LIAISON COMMITTEE ROOM 357 CCB
The entire agenda is about kicking the homeless out of the CCB with a petition from city-county building employees.
– Amend City-County Building Operating Rule 6.6 to read: “Loitering is prohibited. Loitering includes being inside the building or on the building grounds after hours without any apparent official City/County business.”
– Direct Dane County Facilities Management to place no trespassing notices (required by Operating Rule 2.2) so they can be seen on the outside of the building.

– #3 and #118 Creating Section 28.022 – 00164 of the Madison General Ordinances to change the zoning of properties located at 4103-4119 Portage Road, 17th Aldermanic District, from Temp A (Temporary Agricultural) District to SR-V2 (Suburban Residential – Varied 2) District to construct a residential building complex containing 284 apartments in 3 buildings with pool and clubhouse.
Every liquor license in the City of Madison! It’s 4 through 23, and 30 through 85, the first few were separated out by the clerk, attorney or alders and there are no recommendations for them yet. Liquor licenses all are re-approved every year, sometimes some are called out if they have problems. They have to do the liquor licenses by June or July 1st (forgot which) of each year.
– #87 Amending Section 1.08(4) of the Madison General Ordinances to provide enforcement authority to the Director of Building Inspection to enforce noise-related violations of Section 24.04(7), operation of refuse collection vehicles and related equipment.
– #99 Approving plans and specifications and authorizing the Board of Public Works to advertise and receive bids for Reconstruction of the Madison Water Utility Operations Center, 110 South Paterson Street .

– #117 Amending Section 39.03 of the Madison General Ordinances to add homelessness as a protected class
– #125 Authorizing an allocation of up to $200,000 in federal CDBG funds to support Porchlight, Inc.’s acquisition of property located at 4130 Lien Road, for the purpose of building 16 units of supportive permanent housing.
