existing water service is 1 1/2″ – 2″ and is inadequate to sprinkle the second level. It will cost $55,000 to put in a 4″ main. The proposal is to sprinkle the dining areas and both stairwells. The Fire Department requires the system be
monitored and a new 4″ main be provided within 8 years.
