The City of Madison Police Department will receive $68,765 plus any accrued interest from the segregated fund, for the following to enhance law enforcement efforts:
• $53,870 for two vehicles for Mental Health Unit officers
• $6,500 for two temporary surveillance cameras to monitor areas open to the public, as part of a specific criminal investigation or in response to a pattern/trend of criminal behavior
• $4,865 for laptops for the Violent Crime Unit
• $2,400 for SWAT ballistic helmets
• $1,130 for grant financial management training
Authorizing the City to execute an agreement with Madison Log Rolling LLP to use portions of Wingra Park for its log rolling program activities for the years of 2017-2021.
SUBSTITUTE – Authorizing up to $300,000 of CDBG funds to support the Wil-Mar Neighborhood Center’s acquisition of a property they currently lease that serves to support the Center’s programs, and amending the 2017 Adopted Operating Budget to appropriate $300,000 from the Community Development Grant Fund.
Adopting the Darbo-Worthington-Starkweather Neighborhood Plan as a Supplement to the City of Madison Comprehensive Plan.
