– PROPOSED USE OF FUNDING:
Grantees may utilize JAG funds for state and local initiatives, technical assistance, raining, personnel, equipment, supplies, contractual support, and criminal justice information systems for criminal justice that will improve or enhance such areas as:
• Law enforcement programs
• Prosecution and court programs
• Prevention and education programs
• Corrections and community corrections programs
• Drug treatment and enforcement programs
• Planning, evaluation and technology improvement programs
• Crime victim and witness programs (other than compensation)

Proposed use of funds includes the following:
• Support of the Dane County Department of Human Services Drug Court Program
• Support of Dane County District Attorney Crime Response Victim/Witness Program
• Gas masks/filters, an infrared scope and helmets for the Dane County Sheriff’s Office
• Video equipment for interview rooms at each MPD police district
• Body-worn cameras for MPD SWAT
• A night vision scope for MPD SWAT
