Celebrate Madison’s 6th Poet Laureate Oscar Mireles
Mireles, who officially started his term on January 18, 2016, will read poetry along with previous Madison Poets Laureate, at a celebration in his honor on January 31st from 2pm to 4pm at Centro Hispano of Dane County (810 West Badger Road, Madison WI 53713). The formal program begins at 3pm, but all are encouraged to arrive at 2pm to enjoy food and music and celebrate the importance of poetry in our community.
