Blogger is BACK!!!!

Yippeeee!!! I think my regular 60 hour work weeks are over . . . kinda.

The Tenant Resource Center updates were made for the website (some editing still needed), the brochures got done enough (some editing needed and pdf’s still need to get on the website), the Wisconsin Housing Counselor Training Guide is done, the Dane County Housing Counselor Training Guide is done, enough. We’ve written AND GOTTEN! gotten 3 grants. 3 new staff members are hired and mostly trained. I’ve taught the seminars in Milwaukee and Madison . . . and a whole bunch of other shit.

My work is still a bit overwhelming in that I have to finish the details in much of the above, I still need to re-write the Apartment Management in Wisconsin Book (by mid June) and the Tenant’s Rights in Wisconsin Book (by end of August) and we have forms to update and videos to produce and new grants to administer and complete, and three more big grants to write and the city and county funding process to go through, but the biggest and hardest pieces are done! Jamesville Seminar Friday, next week LaCrosse and Appleton and the following week Steven’s Point . . . but then, I have about 20 days I need to take off (use or lose) before August 1st . . . so . . .

Hopefully, I’ll start blogging more prolifically and regularly again! I hope. I’m sure I’m being overly optimistic, but major, major chunks of work are near completion! So if you see me doing a happy dance or smiling a little more than usual, you’ll know why! And if you’ve been waiting for me to do something, please nudge. I expect it! I have lots of dropped balls to recover . . .

But, for now, until they “fix” the laws sometime after next January, I have a bit more of my life back, so you all can have the blogger back!

YAY!!!!!!
