And the Best Actor Award Goes To . . .

A little before 2am on Wednesday morning, there was a very interesting exchange between the mayor and a couple members of the council. It’s amazing how catty they can get when they think no one is paying attention. Mark Clear was particularly unnecessarily snarky and unprofessional and the best actor . . . was just bizarre. I loved Mike Verveer’s reaction.

Ok, what was that?

To be clear, the mayor is correct, when you have an issue the mayor supports and you are against it, its awesome, cuz you automatically get at least 4 – 7 votes of the 11 you need – and sometimes you just hope the mayor shuts up instead of supports something you want to pass. I was going to do some research to show it, but they don’t take as many roll call votes as I would like and its often hard to tell how they voted from the official records.

I was a little surprised he chose to say it . . . but, it’s true. It’s true, its disappointing as Matt Phair says, but it is true. I think Matt Phair doth protest too much and is the one fully of garbage. He gets the best actor award.
