A Random Act of Kindness Refused by the County?

I guess we’ll find out today.

The on-going saga of the City-County Building subtle attempts to make lives harder for people without homes continues . . .

The chairs went missing about 4 months ago. They usually take them out “to be cleaned” or “for voting” or when there are “activities and they are in the way”. This time, they never returned. Here’s more background if you are interested:
2012 – Now useless celebration of the return of the chairs.
October 2012 – State St. property removal
November – Trying to remove belongings
Last week – ALL people, not just those the county is trying to shoo away, have no place to sit.

I probably have a whole bunch more posts on these issues, but those were the ones I thought of immediately – lather, rinse, repeat.

You know what would solve all this? A comprehensive, downtown day center. 4 years and counting! Or we could just keep playing games.
