• Create a new classification series of Transit HR Generalist 1-2 in CG44, R04 and R06; delete the classification of Transit HR Manager in CG44, R12, and recreate vacant position #2902 as a Transit HR Generalist 2.
• Create new or modify existing classifications for position placement in the Finance Department operating budget.
• Authorizing the City of Madison to Contract with Diehl & Neumaier Company to Recycle the Metals and Appliances Collected by the Streets Division
• Authorizing the City of Madison to Enter into a New Contract with Pellitteri Waste Systems for the Sorting, Processing, and Marketing of Recyclables Collected by the Streets Division
• Authorizing the execution of a License Agreement with T-Mobile Central LLC, a Delaware limited liability company, for premises at the water tower located at 910 S. High Point Road. (District 1)
• Authorizing the Mayor and the City Clerk to enter into an agreement with The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company for provision of leasing tires to Metro Transit for a fixed-rate contract for a three (3) year period beginning on December 1, 2025, with two (2) optional extension periods of one (1) year each. If both extensions go into effect, the full duration of this contract will be five (5) years
• Supporting and approving the City of Madison applications to WisDOT for Federal funding under the 2026-2030 Transportation Alternatives Program (TAP), the acceptance of the grant if awarded, and authorizes the Mayor and City Clerk to enter into a grant agreement with WisDOT if awarded the grant (District 3, District 10, District 11, District 15).
• Authorizing the Parks Division to submit, and if awarded, accept a grant of up to $450,000 from the State of Wisconsin Department of Administration for park improvements and authorizing the Mayor and City Clerk to enter into a contract with State of Wisconsin Department of Administration to accept the grant award; and amending the Parks Division 2025 Adopted Capital Budget. (District 12)
• Authorizing Madison Public Library to submit, and if awarded, accept grant of up to $2,000,000 from the State of Wisconsin Department of Administration for Imagination Center at Reindahl Park construction and authorizing the Mayor and City Clerk to enter into a contract with State of Wisconsin Department of Administration to accept grant award. (District 12)
• Authorizing the Parks Division to submit, and if awarded, accept grant of up to $450,000 from the State of Wisconsin Department of Administration for park improvements and authorizing the Mayor and City Clerk to enter into a contract with State of Wisconsin Department of Administration to accept grant award; and amending the Parks Division 2025 Adopted Capital Budget. • Authorizing the Parks Division to submit, and if awarded, accept grant of up to $1,000,000 from the State of Wisconsin Department of Administration for park improvements and authorizing the Mayor and City Clerk to enter into a contract with State of Wisconsin Department of Administration to accept grant award. • Authorizing a noncompetitive purchase of goods from Jefferson Fire & Safety, Inc., as a sole source provider of 3M Scott fire and safety products serving Dane County, WI, for the replacement of all self-contained breathing apparatuses used by the City of Madison Fire Department.
• Approving an agreement between the County of Dane and the City of Madison for Dane County Emergency Management to reimburse the Madison Fire Department for the annual costs associated with using the Elite Platform services provided by ImageTrend, LLC.
• Amending the 2025 adopted operating budget for the City of Madison Fire Department to accept $66,840.91 of grant funding from the Department of Homeland Security, Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) for the 2024 Assistance to Firefighters Grant (AFG).
