    • Questions from the AAC Appeals Subcommittee of witnesses.

They will be discussing the new downtown Madison strategic plan and economic investment strategy. Members of the Common Council have been invited and a possible quorum of the Common Council may exist at this event.

  • Budget Engagement Session: Community & Economic Development
  • The City of Madison is hosting a 2026 Budget Engagement Meeting with a focus on Community and Economic Development on Tuesday, June 24, at the Hub at 2352 Park St. from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. The meeting will feature an update of the 2026 budget process with Finance Director Dave Schmiedicke and presentations from the Director of Planning, Community & Economic Development, the Community Development Authority, and the Community Development Division. The goal of this public meeting is to provide an opportunity for residents to speak directly with City staff about ideas, concerns, and priorities for Madison’s future. A possible quorum of the Common Council may exist at this event.

Attendees are invited to view the draft plan, explore the chapters and discuss the plan with staff and project partners. A possible quorum of the Board of Park Commissioners and Parks Long Range Planning Subcommittee may be present for a non-board related on-site public open house pertaining to the Park and Open Space Plan.
