Seeking Common Council approval of the 2015-2016 Arts Grants awards funding as recommended by the Madison Arts Commission.
Adopting the Recommendations of the Ad Hoc Downtown Public Restroom Committee
Approving the 2015 Neighborhood Grant Program recommendations made by the Staff Review Team and authorizing the Planning Division Director, Finance Director and City Attorney to execute grant agreements on behalf of the City.
Approving the acceptance of a Grant from the Casey Family Programs in the amount of $78,000 to provide staff in the Mayor’s office to prepare a Blueprint for Reducing Opportunity Gaps in Madison, amending the 2015 adopted operating budget for the Mayor’s Office, and authorizing the Mayor and Clerk to Sign a Grant Agreement.
Authorizing the Mayor and City Clerk to Execute a Contract with AVA Civic Enterprises, Inc. for Extended Project Director Services for the Judge Doyle Square Project
Approving the provision of up to $175,000 in 2015 Emerging Opportunities Program (EOP) funds to identified agencies and authorizing the Mayor and the City Clerk to enter into agreements with those agencies to implement the designated projects.
Approving the provision of up to $100,000 in 2015 Community Building and Engagement (CBE) funds to agencies and authorizing the Mayor and the City Clerk to enter into agreements with those agencies to implement the designated projects.
Creating Section 4.29 of the Madison General Ordinances to require Proprietary Interest Protection Agreements in loan agreements. (City Attorney wants it re-referred)
– Preview of Judge Doyle Square request for proposal process.

The African American Communication and Collaboration Council is sponsoring a reception for newly elected alders and African-American officials. The event is designed to provide a networking opportunity for alders and officials to meet with members of the African American Communication and Collaboration Council.
