WI Recalls
This is a tracking page for information about the recall against Scott Walker and maybe other officials.
Basic Information
1. The recall starts Tuesday, November 15th with a 60 day timeline to collect all the signatures.
2. To get a recall on the ballot, volunteers need to collect 540,208 valid signatures. 700,000 signatures would be a much safer number.
3. Petition signers must live in Wisconsin and be eligible to vote in Wisconsin (aka not a felon and at least 18 years old).
4. Petition circulators must be eligible to vote in Wisconsin.
5. There are recalls of State Senators ongoing as well. At the moment, it appears that the recall elections would take place under the previous district boundaries, but the Republicans are suing the state to change this.
The recall targets include: Scott Fitzgerald, Pam Galloway (Wausau), Terry Moulton, (Chippewa Falls). and Van Wanggaard (Racine). Check the Wisconsin Democrats Recall HQ link below for links to office locations.
