4 meetings – Police in the schools (closed session), TIF Districts and more!
21 meetings . . . 11 before 5pm.
28 meetings packed into 4 days, 8 of them start between 4:30 and 6:30 on Monday! 12 of them start before 5:00 this week.
So, the initial hearings (i.e. boring!) for the three cases filed against Madison Police Chief Michael (Mike) Koval were yesterday. I took video, they are brief. I wanted people to see what it takes to file a PFC complaint, since its such a mysterious process. I don’t have a copy of the first complaint, but I will get one, here is the Sharon Irwin and Shadayra Kilfoy-Flores one.
Here’s his initial report on his investigation. My first question is why did it take 4 months to have an initial hearing on an ethics board complaint?
So, I really thought the days of having to make these posts was over . . . .no so!
Also known as EROs!
I just realized that I shouldn’t be calling this “Madison Schools” since it doesn’t really cover Madison in the way most of us think about it!
Are meetings at 8:30, 9am, 10am, noon, 2:30, 3:45 meetings they really want the public to show up to, or are the meetings where they hope we don’t show up? 15 meetings, 6 start at 5:00 or later. It gets worse and worse as the months go by . . . how do county board supervisors with full time jobs attend these meetings?
6 of the 17 meetings start after 5:00. Many of the meetings start at 8am, 10am, 11am, 3pm, 3:30pm. How is the public supposed to be able to attend or participate in these meetings? I know I’ll be at work during these meetings, and I bet you will be too. Alot of meetings with no links too . . . 🙁
They say they are compassionate and well trained and problem-solving oriented . . . lets check out their solutions to people sitting at the top of State St.
